PDF to HEIC Converter

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the image format used by default on modern iPhones and other Apple devices. It offers significantly better compression than JPEG, resulting in smaller file sizes for the same visual quality.

• Space Saving: Create images that take up less storage space, which is ideal for large collections or for sending via email or messaging apps.
• Apple Ecosystem: If you primarily work within the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, Mac), HEIC is a native and highly optimized format.
• Extracting iPhone Photos: If a PDF contains photos that were originally taken on an iPhone, extracting them and converting back to HEIC can be a way to get them in a familiar, efficient format.

1. Upload PDF File: Drag and drop your PDF, or click to select a file. The tool will load the document and generate page previews.
2. Choose Conversion Mode:
   • Select "Convert Pages to HEIC" to render pages as images.
   • Select "Extract Embedded Images" to pull out existing images and convert them to HEIC.
3. Select Pages (if converting): If you chose to convert pages, click on the thumbnails of the pages you want, or use the input box to specify ranges.
4. Adjust Settings (Optional): Set your desired HEIC quality and add a prefix or suffix for the output filenames.
5. Convert: Click the "Convert" or "Extract" button to start the process.
