How to Convert PDF to TXT

Why is the output TXT file empty?

This converter can only extract text from PDFs that have selectable text (text-based PDFs). If your PDF is a scan or an image of a document, it does not contain actual text data, only pixels. This tool does not perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to convert images of text into actual text.

Will the formatting be preserved in the TXT file?

The tool extracts the raw text content. While it attempts to preserve basic spacing and line breaks, complex layouts, columns, tables, and font styles will not be retained. The output is a plain TXT file, designed for maximum compatibility and easy editing.
