HEIC to BMP Converter

BMP (Bitmap) is an older, typically uncompressed image format. While modern formats like HEIC, JPG, and PNG are generally preferred for their efficiency and features, converting to BMP might be necessary for:

• Legacy Software/Hardware: Some very old or specialized software and hardware systems may only support BMP.
• Simple Structure: BMP's straightforward file structure can be useful in specific programming contexts or for very basic image manipulation where complex compression is not desired.
• Uncompressed Data: For scenarios where you need raw, pixel-for-pixel data without any lossy compression artifacts (though HEIC is already lossy, BMP won't add more).

**Important Considerations:**

• **Significantly Larger File Sizes:** BMP files are typically much larger than HEIC, JPG, or PNG files because they store image data with little to no compression.
• **No Transparency Support:** Standard BMP formats do not support transparency (alpha channels). Any transparency in your original HEIC image will be flattened against a white background.
